Physical Therapy

The
Tioga Medical Center PT/OT Department is responsible for
outpatient, acute and long-term care rehabilitation. The physical
therapist diagnoses and treats people of all ages who have medical
problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities
to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.
The physical therapist examines individuals and develops a plan
using treatment techniques that promote the ability to move, reduce
pain, restore function, and prevent disability. The
PT/OT Department is located on the main floor of the Jeffrey
Larson PT, ATC is the director of physical therapy at the
Jeffrey has special rehabilitative interest in sports medicine, general orthopedics, and back rehabilitation. He is also a medical writer with a focus on continuing education for the allied healthcare professions, consumer health education and rehabilitation device research. Melissa Johnson
PT, DPT is a physical therapist at the Melissa has special rehabilitative interests in women’s health, lymphedema management, and general orthopedics. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Andrea Keever, MOTR/L is an occupational therapist at the Tioga Medical Center. She is a graduate of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Andrea has special rehabilitative interests in geriatrics, hand therapy, and general orthopedics. She is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
