Becoming a CNA
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are an integral part of the care team at Tioga Medical Center. CNAs provide direct, basic nursing care to patients/residents and help them with daily essential activities such as eating, bathing, grooming, mobility and more.
Giving Hearts Home Care CNA training
We are pleased to offer paid CNA training and certification in partnership with Giving Hearts Home Care of Stanley, ND. The course is online and can be completed at the participant’s preferred pace.

To be reimbursed for the costs associated with the training and certification, participants must:

Successfully complete the online course

Pass the in-person certification exam in Stanley by July 1, 2024

Sign on to work as a CNA at Tioga Medical Center
Employment Opportunities
With part and full-time employment opportunities available at Tioga Medical Center in Long-Term Care and the hospital, participants can put their training to immediate use. Benefits are available for those who work at least 24 to 40 hours per week, which may include daytime, evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
