Tioga expands Nursing School

Updated: Jul 15, 2021

In partnership with Tioga Medical Center, Williston State College opened a Practical Nursing program in August 2018. The Practical Nursing (PN) program is an eleven-month program, and the program at TMC accepts eight students each year. The program begins in August each year and ends in mid-July. TMC offers both Didactic and clinical courses on campus - Williston State College provides two of their top nursing staff that oversee the PN program locally.

The Tioga Medical Center Administration and Board of Directors have reaffirmed their dedication and commitment to growing the next generation of nurses by constructing a new nursing school on the TMC campus. This construction edition expands the nursing school's functional capacity and brings state-of-the-art tools and technology to Tioga's nursing students.

Williston State College is a partner college in the Dakota Nursing Program along with Bismarck State College, Dakota College at Bottineau and Lake Region State College. www.dakotanursing.org
