(TIOGA, ND) – The National Rural Health Association has awarded Tioga Medical Center a 2024 Top 20 Best Practices in Quality designation, a distinction that recognizes the healthcare facility for the outstanding quality of care they deliver to their patients.
The top 20 critical access hospitals (CAHs), including Tioga Medical Center, scored best among the more than 1,300 CAHs in the nation, as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health Quality INDEX. All hospitals in the INDEX study were evaluated across rural-relevant process of care measures.
“This incredible recognition reinforces what we already know to be true – Tioga Medical Center is an exemplar of best practices in rural healthcare,” says Jamie Eraas, Tioga Medical Center President and CEO. “I cannot adequately express how proud I am of the entire Tioga Medical Center team for their unwavering commitment to our patients and their families. We will use this recognition to further fuel our passion for providing outstanding healthcare to the communities we have the privilege of serving.”
Tioga Medical Center received this award one other time, in 2015.
