Tioga Medical Center is pleased to announce a partnership with Giving Hearts Home Care to provide paid online Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and certification through July 1, 2024.
“CNAs are an integral part of our care team,” says Jamie Eraas, Tioga Medical Center President and CEO. “This is an excellent opportunity for people who have been thinking of obtaining their CNA certification.”
Participants who successfully complete the course, pass the in-person certification exam, and sign on to work as a CNA at Tioga Medical Center will be reimbursed for the costs associated with the training and certification.
“One of the wonderful components of this program is its convenience,” says Jamie. “Participants can take the course at a pace that works for them and from the comfort of their own home.”
With part and full-time employment opportunities available at Tioga Medical Center in Long-Term Care and the hospital, participants can put their training to immediate use. “If you’re ready to start your career in healthcare, this is an excellent – and rewarding—first step.”
